Dressing up is about celebrating : it is living it up it is what differentiates the cork- popping moments from the every day routine of our lives. It might be an anniversary or a birthday or  an intimate evening party with friends. Yet what ever the occasion, you should dress like it means something.

During a cocktail and hors d oeuvres reception at Jonathan Adler’s private home I wore this Versace patent leather and suede dress. Fashion is important and like anything that gives pleasure should be done well.

Jonathan Adler, has been celebrated for a design aesthetic which pairs modernist forms with bold colors, groovy graphics , and organic eye popping patterns that are the signature of his work today. While at his home we were  guided on a home tour, where we obtained information and motivation needed to not only envision a tastefully chic home, but to also infuse our sanctums with wit humor and  style using hue, pattern and fabulous accessories. Chic with humor and style- that is Jonathan Adler’s way to quash the world’s fear of decorating!
