The woman you want  is dressed in Versace, bold bodacious blonde glamour personified. Why not? You should live to the best of your abilities. What makes me feel instantly glamorous ? Freshly washed hair, a new lipstick-very important. A new handbag , a pair of shoes. But I would not describe glamour as a particular object so much as a sensation :  such as the feeling of silk,  or a pair of gold heels. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life. If you at least make an effort to look your best, and if you keep your surroundings looking good, you will feel a lot better than you would otherwise. Believe me !

In style, as in life it self there is nothing so thrilling as a rebel streak. We all carry a little maverick punk sensibility and we are at our most brave and creative when we unleash it. I believe that ninety percent of the confusion  that women feel when they are attempting to put together a specific ensemble is caused by fear. Fear of breaking fashion rules. Or  the basic fear of looking bad. However any undertaking based on fear is likely to fail- or at the very least, it won’t be much fun. And style is all about fun!

The most fabulous style icons are those women who know what the rules are and have the confidence to ignore them, push things to the edge and yet flawlessly keep within the confines of what is appropriate.
