From legendary Italian directorsPaolo and Vittoro Taviani, Wonderous Boccaccio is a tribute to the stories that emerged from a black plague-striken Florence.

A group of young men and women head to a country estate to escape a black plague-striken Florence. They tell stories of love, fate and resurrection. This is a tribute to the tales that emerged from this dark period of Italian history. The film being a period piece was awash with detailed conventional costumes of the time period  in Florence from which to draw fashion  inspiration from. Kinda of like compartments of imagination and memory being quietly fueled as you watched the film.

For the screening I decided to wear jean shorts and a simple white shirt.The ensemble came together with the addition of the Chanel belt worn as a necklace. I find that Chanel belts make the best necklaces and add instant chic to any out fit. This is the best way to wear an urban chic out fit.
