The essence of fall is simplicity. Everything is easier and everyone is just getting over the heat of summer. This is the season to start  layering .  Understated pieces are my go-to – for fall.Take this BCBG jacket teamed here with the Versace jacket. This was my favorite look for the week. I was so surprised about how well the two looked when getting this post together because the two textures of the jackets looked really  flattering on. They are also so comfortable now that the temperatures are dropping down fast at night here in New York. If you want to dress up your wool jackets like this one from Versace try wearing it as a blouse and then throwing on a contrasting jacket like this one from BCBG in texture.I adore the way the two pieces came together giving  you that cozy fall vibe.The brilliant part about this ensemble  is the details from each piece.  Which makes the basic coat or jacket decidedly less boring.
