The five commandments of shoes

A shoe can completely change the look and feel of an outfit. You don’t have to wear expensive clothes with good accessories. Better to wear higher quality shoes and down market dress. When the shoes and bag appear rich no one ever presumes the clothes are down market.

I’m ging to start out by ranking the five pairs of foot wear every woman should at least have in her closet.

1. Ballerina flats- they can work for evening or day and are always chic. I substitute this one for Chanel creepers as I just want more height than a flat gives it is also more edgy and has an urban feel.

2. Metallic sandals -gold or silver, they look great with mostly everything, from jeans to a gown and can usually work around the clock.

3. Plain knee-highboot- a winter must have, and not just because they look hot. There’s nothing particularly glam about standing around in wet feet or worse damaged shoes.

4. Great black pump- low-cut on the upper and as high as you can handle the heel. The higher the better. A great pair can take you anywhere.

5. The bonus pair – for all you out there you know yourself , suffering from Cinderella syndrome. You should include: jeweled sandals- with dresses or jeans.
