Mad Max was a 1979 Australian dystopian action  film that was highly successful world wide . The fourth film of the Mad Max franchise in 30 years, Mad Max: Fury Road was released this year. Like the original it has inspired many fashion  trends.

The fashion houses have taken note and many designers did include some aspect of distressed ,ripped ,shredded , repurposed looks in their collections. The look is bold fierce and uncompromising with fringe and decorative details of metal and beads. The Mad Max trend can be achieved bearing in mind that trendy is the last stage before tacky it must be done right.

This Roberto Cavalli  head to toe runway look does this anarchy , dystopian , chaotic look justice in a refined controlled way. Roberto Cavalli never one for minimalism is the ideal  designer for this look. With the pants he excels in innovation with the fringe and beaded details. The Jacket in of itself is a work of  art of different leathers.
