How wonderful yellow is, it stands for the sun -Van Gogh. I do not think any single shoe recently has made me feel as excited about getting dressed as these shoes from Jil Sander. These shoes like many Jil Sander pieces are timeless and  as such lends it self to many an outfit pairing. I have added black socks to the shoes for some contrast and drama. I do believe that socks are the un- sung heros of our wardrobes- Able to instantly change a look by their simple addition. Founded in Germany in 1967 Jil Sander has always been defined as a focus on simple modern luxury. But categorized by subtle details, Jil sander’s brand has a strong personality , there is a clear identity as seen in these bold yellow  shoes from the house.
