A bold statement shoe what is not to love about this Versace sandal ! It is a wedge – a classic shape that never dates- with a bonus gold  studded seahorse pattern  for added whimsy  appeal. And that is without taking into consideration that is part of the iconic Versace  runway collection. Which  makes it a collector’s piece into the bargain. One can always expect exceptional creativity, innovation and craftsmanship from the house of Versace. Donatella  Versace continues to audaciously expand the realms of both possibility and fantasy in her collections. And this sandal is no different. How many reasons do you need to want this sandal!  For today’s look I have teamed the Versace wedge sandal with a pair of black socks. Feminine and edgy are one of my two favorite styles to mix together. And what is so great about the addition of the socks is that it updates the   entire look. But  yet it is so sophisticated and not so undone you could not wear it to a cocktail party. I think that socks may just be the unsung heroes of our wardrobes.
