“Dressing well is a form of good manners” Tom Ford. In order to achieve my perfect look of the day in the shortest amount of time requires , that my closet be in tip top shape. Easy to navigate, have pieces easily viewed and accessible . How do you accomplish this? We must all agree that closet space is never big enough. However in the words of Stylist turned designer Rachel Zoe one most have options. Carefully curated and neatly organized closets make you feel happier and more creative. Follow theses simple ideas  for achieving  wardrobe nirvana and perfection.

1.Place items in a collection

A collection of carefully selected similar  items that have the same color palate should be placed side by side and according to lengths . By so doing it makes them easily accessed and viewed . That is blouses together then skirts then pants. This allows for wardrobe flexibility to add items as they are purchased and solves those “what to wear moments”

2. Keep wardrobe bascis, underwear, workout clothes and special occasion wear separate.

3. I keep shoes in boxes for their protection and to maintain their shape. Organize them according to designer and style.

4. Accessories should be kept separate and organized in such a way for easy viewing and access .

Once you have started these few steps, you will be  investing more time, money energy into the things that matter. You can then  move on to the phase of maintenance which involves repairing items and ensuring that they are cleaned well or professionally if indicated. The idea is that your style evolves slowly over time each piece contributing to your stylistic goals. Make your closet strategic and intentional.

I had this Fendi watch that needed repairs that kept me from wearing it for many years. OnceI had it repaired it opened up a whole new world of styling options. Such as the fashion trend of this SS1015 of stacking up  assesories. I have achieved this look by paring the Versace bracelet with the Fendi watch.
