Stranded in Canton is a homage to William Eggleton and depicts the phenomena of lives of the African diaspora with a sense of documentary. This film was a mixed storytelling experience part fiction part  documentary .

Lebrun (Lebrun Iko Isibangi ), an entrepreneur with a big  dream, leaves his home of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Traveling to Guangzhou to oversee an order of T-shirts for the up coming Congolese presidential  election. However, the order arrives late, months after the election is over and Lebrun is left to find a solution.With difficulty adapting to the culture, and with his debts  ever increasing, Lebrun ignores advice from his friends, and decides not to return home to his farm in the Republic of  Congo.  So then with his Chinese business partner Frank (Frank No) , Lebrun concorts an idea to redesign the T-shirts and sell them to the opposition party.

For the screening  of the film I wore this Chanel Paris Dallas felt hat with a crisp white shirt. Black and white combinations are classic and always chic  no matter the occasion or environment. Combined the two  give an understated elegance to the entire ensemble.
