Chanel shoes are generally expensive, rare vintage or both, making it difficult to recreate runway looks. However I am quite taken by these Chanel creepers with so much charm and sophistication. First they look amazingly and downright comfortable and second, it is quite easy to find a similar style. With the Versailles collection from which these shoes are from Karl Lagerfeld has proved himself to be a grand master of the high – low hybrid take on dressing. Given the fact that these shoes can be worn dressed up in feminine lace ruffles and silks and dressed down with casual shorts. This trend was the staple last year worn by celebrities  from  Rihanna  to Alexa Chung. It is moving into this year  in a seriously chic  modern way. Here it is off set with a glamourous dress for a fresh sophisticated look. Karl Lagerfeld, like Gabrielle Chanel before him, believes fashion should encourage an active life.
