It’s best to focus on what you like about yourself and what is working for you. Having glamour means being a master of illusion. Color proportion and even your attitude can make all the difference.

The best part of creating style? Whether it comes to your personal stye look or the look of your home, is that t is not permant. It can be chaged. Tweaked or re-created.

Be your self. Don’t copy but do draw inspiration from icons or objects . Interpret it. Who inspires you? Do whatever it takes to build up an inspiration file. Collect images of your favorite icons from fashion, film and history. While your at it collect images of favorite looks, accessories, interiors, even stuff or things you might like just because of the color, shape or idea of it. Tear pages out of magazines, copy them out of books.

Inspiration may also be staring right at you. I always strive for one element of drama in all my looks, something that is special about the overall look that you can build on.

Style can be empowering when you understand your own limits and strengths and know how to exploit them favorably. It is not limited to the rich and famous. Even rearranging your closet or the furniture in your place can provide a boost.

When it comes to your personal style or the look of your home or a table top for a dinner party. Remember it’s not permanent, it can be tweaked , re- created or changed. You must try to reinvent by mixing  new and vintage or just wearing things a different way.
