My best piece of beauty advice is to find a balance. A gorgeous out fit can be made to look bad with the wrong hair and makeup .Bad hair and skin with too much eye and lip color can age even the prettiest woman, and definitely does no favors to women beyond that stage.

Here are five beauty habits worth getting into to keep you on track.

  1. A groomed brow can open up your eyes and frame your face. Tweeze a  hair here or there between appointments, but see a professional at least four to six weeks to maintain shape.

2. Whether you bleach, thread,or wax get rid of lip hair. A moustache is only handsome on men, and even not in all cases.

3. Keep nails manicured , always. Even  that means a quickie, do-it – yourself removal of all polish traces, filing, and moisturizing. We all communicate with our hands, some more than others. Don’t create distractions with badly chipped nails. And don’t forget the pedicure for unloved feet. The chicest nails on hands and feet are trimmed at short length.

4. Loofah skin. Along with shampooing, this should become a part of your bathing ritual . Not only does it soften skin by sloughing away dead cells and environmental toxins, but it also opens pores, and allowing for closer shave or, later in the salon, better waxing.

5. Lastly drink water. You would think that this one is so obvious. But most of us also drink plenty of tea (yours truly in particular) and coffee – and these cause dehydration . A good practice is to drink a tall glass while you do your makeup.
