When ever a designer leaves a house there is always a question as to what direction the house collections will take. The industry  is always playing musical chairs with their designers. The change can be a big impact sometimes welcome to the overall design and feel of the resulting collections .Being a loyal follower of the house one is faced with a decision to stay or follow the designer if possible or move on to other houses. The good news is that you can take a wait and see choice as well. Many labels have core key pieces that they reproduce every season in different colors fabrics or finishes . Also the new designer may look to the archives of the house for inspiration, thus keeping the over all esthetics of the collection constant. If the designer chooses a different direction some loyal enthusiasts may be lost to other houses or stuck on old collections.
