Trousers have once again cycled to the front of the fashion class. We are in the midst of another trouser moment right now, as pants – particularly tailored ones, wide-legged, with a little flare – are making a comeback . These Roberto Cavalli pants are a great example of this trend. While I tend not to wear a lot of pants- the cut and shape of this pair caught my eye and I had to have them . The wide legged cut makes your legs seem that more longer. I have teamed them with the silk Roberto Cavalli jacket and blouse – the pattern on pattern which  is another popular theme  this season with designers. It is hard  to fathom a time when the sight of a woman wearing pants might be deemed sensational. But in the early 1930’s women like Katharine Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich made pants fashionable- as much for the pants they wore as for how they wore them- and by the mid-30’s menswear- inspired trousers entered the vernacular of women’s clothing.
