Whether it is an elegant blouse or a printed skirt, Roberto Cavalli  pieces are where boho meets Upper east side polish. This Roberto Cavalli dress is one of my favorite dresses to wear. I really wanted to pair it with the Saint Laurent bag for that chic yet cool urban vibe for the screening of Courted . I am so in love of the juxtaposition of soft and structured and that it turned out  to be the perfect outfit to wear that night. Courted (L’Hermine) directed by Christian Vincent is a narrative film, shown at the Tribeca film festival last week. It tells the story of a feared and not so respected judge of the French court Xavier Racine played by Fabrice Luchin who encounters a Danish juror, Ditte Loreansen-Coteret played by Sidse Babett,at a murder  trial. As the film unfolds their shared past is slowly uncovered. The film was understated but yet an engaging love story playing with  notions of how we present ourselves and how we wish to be perceived.
