Evolution is the key to the next step in fashion growth. When we create, we select combine invent, refine. We edit ,we change.  This year we should all be setting all sorts of goals of self betterment and personal style is no exception. One can start with a designer’s dream. Create, build, shape, construct, deconstruct, form- all terms conveying a work in progress. Be yourself do not copy. But however do draw inspiration from fashion icons. Interpret their look. What ever inspires you build up an inspiration file. Make it a point to collect images of your favorite icons from fashion film and history. You may also look to collect images of your favorite looks, accessories, interiors , even stuff you might just like because of the color, shape or idea of it.  I strive for one element of drama in all my looks, something that is special about the overall look that you can build on.
