For the second day of the Good wood revival festival I wore this Louis Vuitton ensemble -in keeping with the 1950’s glamour of hats and high waisted pants. Every one who dresses up for the revival is integral to the experience on the day.

While you are  not required to dress up. You’ll feel much more involved if you do. My intent was to fully immerse myself in this nostalgic and bustling atmosphere- at  the biggest and best motor racing  party of the year.

The Goodwood revival festival is held each September at the Goodwood circuit. The festival includes Grand prix cars from the Fifties and Sixties, Sports and GT cars, as well as historic salon cars and little – seen Formula juniors. Many of these important historic racing cars are driven by famous names from motor sport past and present. The  resulting step- back in -time spectacle plays a key role in making the revival such a unique event.
