Question Where do you live?

I live in Manhattan New York. What I have found most enjoyable about New York City lately since I have started ihenaewu.com is the different appearance and character the city gives at different times of the day. Since the early hours of the morning offer the best light for photographs, much of the filming is done in the early morning, the city at this time gives off a surreal romantic feel. This provides a great narrative for the clothes. The other aspect that  am acutely aware of and enjoy  is the varied architecture of the buildings and streets that I have  in  cooperated into the photo shoots. What to one person might look like masculine scaffolding becomes the perfect counter point to elegantly styled clothes, against  the masculine out lines of wood and steel. I also appreciate the constant mobility and motion in New York city. Once the city awakes- this is clearly shown in much of the shots via the ubiquitous yellow cabs and people seen mulling in the background of many shots. The yellow cabs by virtue  of  their color and shape are so very iconic New York city. They add their own character and play seamlessly on the site photographs at ihenaewu.com
