I am the founder of a blog that has long extolled the virtues of dressing yourself, for yourself in whatever form that might mean to you and looking fantastic while acknowledging the multiple resources to do so at your disposal . In light of these ideals I have been thinking about personal style. What does it really take? Can it be learned? Manufactured? we are taught and often learn for ourselves that personal style is not really about clothes on our backs- and this still rings quite true. But the clothes are definitely a must, a sort of invitation that draws you in . So can you teach someone to wear clothes and then watch as they transition from previous old self to present new self? You do not just wear clothes you become the clothes. This may just be that ingredient that is missing from all the above conversations. If clothes are so temporary that we can easily take them off at will and try on a different character trait, then maybe it is really intention we should be focusing on. That is to say ownership, attitude is king- it is a factor that plays into the ownership of the clothes .I fiercely maintain that you can dress to live the state of mind you aspire toward. For today’s look I have chosen to go with one of My favorite designers- Chanel. One can always expect exceptional creativity and innovation from the house of Chanel. I am a huge fan of Chanel. If you have not noticed, I mean how many times have Chanel pieces made it onto my feed this year? A lot. I find that the brand’s style is really easy to integrate into my every day life.
