The rise of non- conformist fashion

Call it the Gucci effect. Disrupting perceptions of what is beautiful and stylish. By layering unexpected pieces in unusual  combinations to create something unique and appealing.  At first blush you might find this whole  development- slightly daunting. Because these blissfully discordant and irregular combinations once provoked  raised eye brows.  Now they rule the runway. Why? Allessandro Michele , the creative director installed at the storied fashion house of Gucci has won over fashion insiders.  He  has done  this with his vintage inclined maximalist aesthetic. This is a man who is  not afraid of mixed messages , who can  pair  the most unlikely pieces together and still manage to pull of a cool look. The runway result is stridently non- conformist- the polar opposite of the  minimalism of past seasons. Now these rapturously irregular combinations now occupy our minds and wish lists.
