Sometimes you have to sacrifice a little comfort for image. It may be the heels. You have to decide if it’s worth it and then commit. No walking around barefoot or complaining ! Sometimes you have to push the envelope. Queue 7 inch Giuseppe Zanotti wedges.

With all the events to go to here in New York city,I am lucky to have access to fashion houses and fabulous accessories. But when I  shop I am  very much aware of what works on my body, I know my flaws- yes, I have them. Size and age doesn’t matter. We all have negatives. We also all have positives we can accentuate. I know what makes me comfortable and what dosen’t. I also know my limitations, but I don’t let them get me down I work within them.

Fit is very important, Doesn’t matter if you are big, small, fat or thin a dress shouldn’t own you. It shouldn’t over power you. You should own it. I’m fortunate enough to wear expensive gowns and accessories but also pair them with down mark pieces as well. It goes back to owning the look. Your attitude and the way you wear it- maybe a few good  pieces of jewelry, your hair and your makeup make the difference.

Don’t just wear anything because it looks good. It has to speak to  your personality. Who you are. What speaks to you about your style never mind the designer. If you are not comfortable it’s not for you.

So about next week’s look.  Here you have the pink Chanel cocktail dress with crinoline  for  drama paired with  a pair of pink  suede Chanel gloves to complete the look – then add the 7 inch Giuseppe Zanotti suede wedge for the wow factor . A statement piece softened  made more feminine  by the purple color.
